From Park Avenue, you can be almost anywhere in the Little Rock area within a few minutes.
Whether you are looking for shopping, food, health care, sports, entertainment,
or built-in customers, they are all right here. Just east on Markham, War Memorial Park
includes War Memorial Stadium, the Little Rock Zoo and many other amenities.
In 2008, Little Rock’s population was estimated at 665,026. With growth projections 704,569 by 2013, 35,228 of
those are estimated to be living within one mile of Park Avenue. Surrounding the Midtowne area, there are three
major neighborhoods: Hillcrest, immediately east of University Avenue; the Heights, to its north; and Briarwood,
east of and contiguous to the site. Within one mile, residents have fewer children, have smaller households,
are more affluent, are more educated, and are more likely to be employed in executive, managerial or professional
specialty occupations. Estimated disposable income for Little Rock and North Little Rock is 18.4 billion dollars.
Midtowne Little Rock, an open-air lifestyle center one block over, is home to a variety of names.

Park Plaza, a traditional enclosed mall, across Markham St., which recently underwent a multi-million-dollar
renovation, boasts 546,000 square feet of retail space, and houses abercrombie, Abercrombie & Fitch,
Aéropostale, ALDO, American Eagle Outfitters, Ann Taylor, Banana Republic, Bath & Body Works,
Coldwater Creek, Crabtree & Evelyn, Dillard’s, Eddie Bauer, Gap, Gap Maternity, GapKids/Baby Gap,
Gymboree, Lane Bryant, The Limited, Limited Too, Talbots, Talbots Petites, Talbots Woman, Victoria’s Secret,
and Zales. The mall’s specialty stores enjoy sales of $470 per square foot,
with total annual sales in the mid eighty-million-dollar range.
Sears, just two blocks down on University, offers appliances, home goods, clothing, toys and jewelry.
Across the street, St. Vincent Infirmary Medical Center provides a comprehensive range of care devoted
to the whole patient – body, mind and spirit.

The William J. Clinton Center, while working to support the many global initiatives of President Clinton’s
foundation, is the permanent home to the largest presidential archive in American history.
The goal of the Little Rock National Airport is to provide exemplary service to all customers.
One way they do so is by offering thousands of seats to a large number of destinations daily,
with non-stop travel to a variety of cities.
Less than two miles from Park Avenue, UALR has the third largest student population in the state.
The metropolitan university offers safe, accessible, quality education to over 12,000 full- and part-time students,
with over 800 faculty and staff members. It also serves as home to the new Jack Stephens Center.
UAMS is the state's only academic medical center and is responsible for training more than eighty
percent of the physicians in Arkansas as well as the majority of other medical professionals.
